如今世道多颠倒，人祸恰似鼠患灾。
北边有名瘟疫鼠，人心不足鼠吞象 ，
得了一寸尚不足，更要啃食占人窝。
中间有个仓硕鼠，偷盗抢掠手段多。
占着茅坑呵新曲，耳聋心瞎人忙活。
东边有只饥饿鼠，面黑饥痩讨乞食，
耙着地道建坟头，黄粱一梦人埋没。
本欲抖抖熊虎威，哪想成了猫后鼠，
鼠目寸光看不清，贼眉鼠眼想不明。
四脚登天有人来，问道本鼠何至此。
如今早已人间境，且看西方米老鼠，
嬉笑戏谑皆成趣，人是人啊鼠归鼠!
Men or Mice
Today, the world upside down,
Man’s calamities like rats abound.
A plague rat rises in the North,
Its greed devours all, surging forth.
An inch is seized, yet never enough,
It gnaws through homes, steals all we love.
The hoarding rat takes center stage,
Its plundered wealth a silent cage.
It claims the throne with songs of lies,
Deaf and blind as chaos flies.
A starving rat claws in the East,
Its hollow face a desperate beast.
It burrows deep, builds graves for dreams,
A fleeting life dissolves in streams.
We sought to roar as tigers might,
Yet stooped to crawl in the shadows’ light.
With beady eyes, it fail to see,
Schemes obscure our destiny.
Four paws aloft, rats confuse still,
Ask loudly “Why I stucted in hell?”
But far away, a mouse takes stage,
Its laughter charms, oh Mickey Mouse
Let rats retreat to shadowed lands,
And humans rise with open hands.
For man is man, and mice are mice
A brighter day must now suffice.
